Owney Goes to the Small Press Expo
We are counting down the minutes to SPX 2014, where Owney will be getting his comic book convention debut!
Yes, we are thrilled to announce that The Secret Around-the-World Adventures of Owney the Postal Dog will be featured at the Small Press Expo convention in Bethesda, MD (outside Washington, DC). The Small Press Expo is the premiere independent cartooning and comic arts festival in North America, and it spotlights artists and publishers who produce independent comics. The Expo also sponsors a number of charitable initiatives and events, including the prestigious Ignatz Awards.
We'll be at table A9 - if you are in the DC area and are able to stop by, we’d be delighted to see you! We will be doing daily drawings for free Owney gift packages, and we’ll have plenty of "Friend of Owney" dog tags in stock for our new friends!
